From goods received to resolved return
See open inspections together
The list gathers received return items that still need review across your orders. You do not have to find them in each order separately.
Oldest arrivals first
Older arrivals appear first. Each page shows up to 50 items with the order, account, and remaining quantity to inspect.
Resolve partial quantities step by step
Confirm only the units you actually inspected. The remaining quantity stays open for the next inspection.
Put saleable units back in stock
Only quantities explicitly confirmed as saleable increase stock. The original inventory match and a known, counted stock level are required.
Open the right goods receipt
Inspect goods opens exactly the selected saved receipt item. The order is linked directly if you need its shipping context.
Inspection and refund are separate
An inspection does not create another goods receipt or a refund. Record financial steps separately.
Example with fictional data
Example: 3 of 5 returned cables still need inspection
You recorded 5 returned cables as received and unresolved. Then you inspected 1 saleable cable and 1 damaged cable. Three units remain under Inspect goods until you check their condition too.
- 3 units unresolved
- 5 received minus 2 already inspected. The item remains visible in the work list.
- 1 more saleable unit
- Confirming this unit raises current stock from 10 to 11. Two units remain open.
- 2 damaged units
- Mark the final two units as damaged. The open item disappears; stock stays at 11.
You can pause the inspection and continue later with the remaining quantity. Damaged and unresolved units do not increase stock. The inspection history records the confirmed partial quantities.
Try inspecting returned goods
Use a return that has actually arrived for an order shipped through Shipnovo. You need access to orders and inventory editing permission; financial permission is not required.
- Register and set up your order source. Match items clearly before shipping and save the counted stock.
- Open Returns → Record goods received. Select the shipped order and enter the received quantity that still needs inspection.
- In the Inspect goods list, open the matching item. Confirm an inspected partial quantity as saleable or damaged.
- Check the remaining unresolved quantity and stock. Continue the inspection when you have checked the rest.
