Having 20 units in stock does not mean all 20 are available. Shipnovo shows quantities reserved for shipping batches and where you need to restock. Items, storage locations, and eBay listings stay clearly matched.

Available and reserved quantities
See total stock, reservations, and available quantity separately. Available stock is the known stock minus open reservations.
Check minimum stock
Minimum stock reached shows items whose available quantity is at or below the minimum. Sort by Available quantity, ascending, and narrow the list by search or storage location.
Internal items
Each item has a unique SKU, an image, and codes such as EAN for scanning.
Match by account and variation
Match each eBay listing and variation to the right item, separately for each seller account.
Storage locations
Assign items to storage locations. The pick list for a shipping batch sorts goods by location.
Deduct stock when shipping
When automatic inventory tracking is enabled, a saved shipping batch reserves the quantity. Stock is deducted only after shipment is confirmed.
Sets and components
A set lists its components and quantities. When packing, confirm the set or all its components.
Codes as PDF
Print item codes and storage location codes as a PDF for shelves and goods.
Example with fictional data
Example: 20 in stock, but only 2 available
You sell charging cables. There are 20 in stock, and 18 are reserved for open shipping batches. Your minimum stock is 3. Looking only at total stock would hide the shortage.
- 20 units in stock
- Total stock includes goods already allocated to shipping batches.
- 18 units reserved
- Open reservations allocate these units without deducting them from total stock yet.
- 2 units available
- 20 minus 18 equals 2. The item appears under Minimum stock reached because 2 is less than 3.
The work list helps you plan restocking. Filtering and sorting do not change quantities. Packing, buying labels, and printing also do not deduct stock; with automatic inventory tracking, that happens only when shipment is confirmed.
Check your available inventory
After registration, setup guides you to your order source. Connect the right seller account for eBay orders. Then set up your items to track reservations.
- Open Items & Inventory, create an item, and match it to the listing and variation on the correct eBay account.
- Save the counted stock and a minimum stock level. Enable automatic inventory tracking for each item if Shipnovo should reserve stock and deduct it after shipping.
- Save a shipping batch with matched items. Then compare Total stock, Reserved, and Available; you do not need to buy a label.
- Under Items, choose the Minimum stock reached filter and sort by Available quantity, ascending. Search or storage location narrows the work list further.

Common questions
Stock is the saved total quantity. Open reservations are units allocated to shipping batches. Available quantity is known stock minus those reservations, and determines the minimum stock filter.
Unrecorded stock is not treated as zero. Find these items with the Stock not recorded filter; their available quantity remains unknown. First enter the counted stock.
No. The default is Manual, with no automatic quantity changes. Turn on automatic inventory tracking for each item as needed.
With automatic inventory tracking, only after shipment is confirmed. Packing, buying labels, and printing do not deduct stock.
Not automatically. Check the account, listing, and variation, then match them deliberately.
No. The work list shows internal stock and reservations in Shipnovo. It does not change listing quantities on eBay.
