Who these guides are for
For eBay sellers who currently ship with Billbee, Afterbuy, Sendcloud, plentymarkets, Easyship, Packlink PRO, or JTL and want to move shipping to Shipnovo. Shipnovo is a good fit if you mainly sell through eBay and ship with DHL or Deutsche Post. If you sell on many marketplaces or need customer invoices, read the relevant comparison first.
How each guide is structured
Each guide has three parts. First, save your data in your current tool, especially products, stock, and orders. Each step names the menu shown in the provider's help pages and links to it, with the date it was checked. Then set up Shipnovo; the steps follow the same order for every provider. Finally, switch off the old tool. Steps are numbered so you can find where you left off.
Set up Shipnovo
Connect your eBay and shipping accounts: DHL with your business customer contract, or Deutsche Post with your Portokasse. Set your sender details and print format under Shipping methods. Then import your products under Products & inventory → Import. Upload the file as it is, including an export from your previous tool. Shipnovo detects the columns and shows a preview before import. Then match your eBay listings to products.
Create shipping rules again
Shipping rules, templates, and automations cannot be imported. Create them again in Shipnovo. A shipping rule suggests a shipping method based on country, order value, or eBay account. Before you switch, note which rules you actually use in your previous tool.
Test first, then switch
Test Shipnovo for 14 days without entering payment details. Start with a shipping run containing a few orders. Under Settings → Setup, you can see the remaining steps. Real labels incur postage charges through your own shipping account. Then set a cutover date, from which all new orders will go through Shipnovo.
What to keep yourself
Shipnovo does not import customers, invoices, or past shipments. Shipnovo fetches eBay orders from the last 90 days itself; older orders remain in your export. Keep these files for your records before cancelling the old tool.
Common questions
Set a cutover date. Ship orders up to that date in your previous tool, and all later orders in Shipnovo. Disconnect the eBay integration there only after that.
Shipnovo fetches eBay orders from the last 90 days itself via “Import from eBay”. Older orders and past shipments cannot be imported. Keep the export from your previous tool for your records.
CSV, XLSX, XLS, and XML, including an unchanged export from your previous tool. Re-importing updates existing SKUs instead of creating duplicates.
