What is a thermal printer?
A thermal printer uses heat to print on special thermal paper. For shipping labels, it is used with rolls of self-adhesive labels.
A thermal printer needs neither ink nor toner. You stick the printed label directly onto the parcel.
It is important that the label format fits your paper. A DHL label measuring 103 × 150 mm will not fit on a 100 × 150 mm roll without being scaled down.
Thermal printer in Shipnovo
Shipnovo prints DHL labels for thermal printers in 103 × 150 mm or 103 × 199 mm format. During the shipping run, the “Thermodrucker” (thermal printer) view checks whether the original format fits your paper.
