eBay token expired: reconnect
Shipnovo no longer imports orders and shows “Reconnect account”. eBay authorization has expired or was withdrawn. Authorizing again fixes this.
What the message says
The app shows these messages in German. They are quoted exactly so you can match them.
- Connection expired or invalid. Restart the process.
- Connection to eBay failed. Try again.
- The chosen eBay account does not match the selected connection.
Possible causes
- Your eBay authorization expired, for example after a password change.
- The eBay sign-in was canceled or took too long.
- You were signed in to a different eBay seller account than the one you wanted to reconnect.
How to fix the error
- 1
Open eBay accounts
Go to Settings → “eBay accounts”. Accounts without valid authorization are marked.
- 2
Reconnect
Click “Reconnect” for the affected account. Sign-in takes place at auth.ebay.com, including for ebay.de.
- 3
Choose the right seller account
Sign in to eBay with the seller account you're reconnecting. Shipnovo stops if you use a different account, so orders can't get mixed up.
- 4
Check the connection
Then click “Check” and “Retrieve orders”.
Common questions
No. Orders, shipping batches and settings remain. The new authorization only replaces the old sign-in.
No. Use “Reconnect” on the existing account. You can't add the same seller account twice.
eBay signs in all marketplaces through the same page. The sign-in also applies to your ebay.de account.
