What is a tracking number?
The tracking number is the unique number assigned to a shipment by the shipping carrier. Buyers and sellers use it to track where the parcel currently is.
The shipping carrier assigns the tracking number when you buy the label. It appears on the shipping label as a number and as a barcode.
On eBay, you enter the tracking number in the order. The buyer can then see the delivery status, and you can provide proof of dispatch.
Tracking number in Shipnovo
Shipnovo sends the tracking number to the eBay account associated with the order as soon as you confirm dispatch in the shipping batch. In packing mode, scanning the tracking number opens the correct shipment.
