Add a tracking number on eBay: manually or automatically
The tracking number shows the buyer where their parcel is. It also helps you provide proof of dispatch. You can enter it manually on eBay or have a shipping tool submit it.

Manually on eBay
In your sold items overview, you can enter a tracking number and select the shipping carrier for each order. For a small number of parcels, this is quick to do.
With many parcels, typing in the numbers becomes prone to errors. Transposing two digits directs the buyer to the wrong shipment.
Automatically with Shipnovo
Shipnovo submits the tracking number as soon as you confirm dispatch in the shipping run. Creating or printing the label does not submit anything yet. This way, no number is sent to eBay before the parcel is actually on its way.
The right account when using multiple eBay accounts
In Shipnovo, each order remains assigned to the eBay account it came from. The notification is always sent to that specific account, even if a shipping run includes orders from multiple accounts.
If a notification fails to go through
The shipping run shows confirmed, pending and failed notifications. You can selectively resend pending notifications without submitting duplicates.
Common questions
As soon as it has been entered on eBay. With Shipnovo, this happens after you confirm shipment in the shipping run.
On eBay, you can edit the shipment details entered for the order. It is best to check the number before submitting it.
In that case, you only report the status as shipped. Shipnovo can do this using a dedicated setting.
