Split a DHL Common Label PDF and use it for eBay

Step by step

   Create fillable labels at DHL

   Create fillable original labels in the Post & DHL business customer portal and download the PDF. The PDF must contain actual form fields. Shipnovo cannot fill in a scanned label or a signed PDF.

   Create a shipping method with label templates

   Open Settings → Shipping methods and create a shipping method with Label templates as the provider. Create a separate method for each parcel type, for example small parcel, 2 kg, or 5 kg.

   Open the DHL label pool

   Open Shipping → Labels, then the DHL label pool. Each active shipping method using label templates has its own folder. At the top, you can see how many templates are ready to use.

   Upload the PDF to the right folder

   Drag the PDF onto the folder or click “Drag or click to add PDF templates”. Shipnovo automatically splits a multi-page PDF into individual templates. Each file can contain up to 300 labels and be 10 MB.

   Create a shipment using that method

   Choose the shipping method with label templates in your shipment. Shipnovo takes the oldest available templates from the matching folder and fills in the recipient, sender, and routing code. Each template is then marked as used.

   Print, pack, and confirm shipment

   Print the completed labels with the packing list from the same shipment. Each printed tracking number now belongs to exactly one order. After “Confirm shipment”, Shipnovo reports it to the eBay account for that order.
