Connect the DHL business customer portal to eBay

Step by step

   Connect your eBay account

   Open Settings → eBay accounts and connect your seller account. Shipnovo then retrieves orders for that account. Connect each additional eBay account separately.

   Open your DHL account in Shipnovo

   Open Settings → DHL account. The DHL Paket card shows whether a business customer account is already connected. You can connect multiple DHL accounts, for example, for two warehouses.

   Create a system user in the business customer portal

   An administrator creates a system user under Manage users in the Post & DHL business customer portal. Its user group profile must include the required billing numbers. Do not use the DHL developer login here. The help beside the field also shows these steps in Shipnovo.

   Enter credentials and billing number

   Enter the system user's DHL username and password. The billing number has 14 characters: ten EKP digits, two process digits, and two participation characters. A name such as Berlin warehouse helps distinguish multiple accounts.

   Connect the DHL account

   Click Connect DHL account. Shipnovo checks access with DHL without buying a label, then stores the details encrypted. If an error occurs, the card displays DHL's message.

   Link a shipping method to the DHL account

   Open Settings → Shipping methods. Create a shipping method with DHL as the provider, or open an existing one. Choose the product, shipping account, and format. Saving does not buy postage.

7. 7

   Ship eBay orders with DHL

   Select ready-to-ship orders, click Create labels, and choose the DHL shipping method in the preview. Only the numbered button, for example “Create 3 labels”, buys labels through your contract. After shipment confirmation, the DHL tracking number is sent to eBay.
