Shipnovo

Scan and pack parcels with your phone or scanner

Packing mode checks that each parcel contains the right items. Scan with your phone camera or a handheld scanner. Shipnovo runs in your browser, so you do not need a separate app. Packed does not mean shipped: confirm shipment separately afterward.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open a shipment with labels

Open Shipping and the shipment whose labels have already been created. Click Start packing mode. On your phone, open the same page in your browser.

  2. 2

    Choose a scanner

With a handheld scanner, scan directly into the Scanner field. On your phone, tap “Scan with camera” and hold the code in the frame. In low light, use the Turn on light switch.

  3. 3

    Scan the shipping label

Scan the parcel's shipping label. Shipnovo opens the matching shipment and shows the items that belong in it. You can also open the first shipment in print order.

  4. 4

    Scan the items

Scan each item before putting it in the parcel. Each scan counts one unit. An incorrect item is flagged immediately. Depending on the checking mode, scan the storage location instead of the item or confirm by visual inspection.

  5. 5

    Mark the parcel as packed

Once all quantities are recorded, the shipment is marked packed. If items have no codes, confirm with Packed. At a packing station with a keyboard, press F8; F9 opens the next shipment.

  6. 6

    Confirm shipment

Packed is an internal check only. When the parcels are handed to the carrier, click “Confirm shipment” in the shipment. Only then does Shipnovo deduct inventory and report tracking numbers to eBay.
