What is the DHL Common Label?
The Common Label is DHL's standard parcel label. It shows the recipient, sender, product, tracking number and sorting codes in fixed positions.
The consistent layout allows staff and sorting systems to read every label in the same way. You can create fillable Common Label PDFs in the business customer portal.
A PDF like this often has many pages, each with one label. Each label needs actual form fields so that software can enter the address and routing code.
Common Label in Shipnovo
Shipnovo splits a Common Label PDF into individual templates when you upload it. A file may contain up to 300 labels and be up to 10 MB in size. During a shipping run, Shipnovo fills in the oldest unused templates.
