Tracking number isn't sent to eBay
The label is printed, but eBay still shows the order as not shipped. Usually, shipping hasn't been confirmed yet, or the update to eBay failed.
What the message says
The app shows these messages in German. They are quoted exactly so you can match them.
- Die Sendung wurde noch nicht ausdrücklich als versendet bestätigt. (The shipment has not yet been explicitly confirmed as shipped.)
- Die Versandmeldung enthält keine Trackingnummer. Aktiviere „Ohne Sendungsnummer als versendet melden“ in den Einstellungen oder ergänze eine zulässige Sendungsnummer. (The shipment update contains no tracking number. Enable shipping without a tracking number in Settings or add a valid tracking number.)
- Der eBay-Zahlungsstatus ist nicht versandbereit. (The eBay payment status does not allow shipping yet.)
Possible causes
- Shipping hasn't been confirmed yet. Confirmation starts the update to eBay; printing the label does not.
- The shipment has no tracking number, for example a Deutsche Post letter, and updates without a number are disabled.
- eBay rejected the update or did not return a clear response.
How to fix the error

Confirm shipping
Open the shipping batch and click “Confirm shipping”. Only then does Shipnovo send tracking numbers to eBay.

Check the update status
Under “Shipping updates to eBay”, you can see each shipment's status, such as “Shipping reported”, “Update failed – check again” or “No automatic update”.

Resend pending updates
Click “Check pending eBay updates”. Shipnovo first checks unclear responses with eBay, then sends only what is still missing.

Report shipments without a number
Go to Settings → “Shipping updates to eBay”. Under “More options”, enable “Report as shipped without a tracking number” and click “Save”.
Common questions
A printed label does not mean the parcel has shipped. Shipnovo reports shipping only after you confirm it, so the buyer doesn't receive an incorrect message.
